A really cool, nature themed bar. A unique blend of trendy mixed with nature. A great place to try a recommended Burger Joint (contributor's opinion, his best eats)

To be clear in its review, Hans I'm Gluck Burgers would fall, under the 'clean category'. I.e. Not good old greasy, salty, 'fast food' styled burgers ( thus this rules out SuperDuper, In&Out, Shake Shack etc), but rather compared with other similar pseudo artesian burger joints like Flip-side, Jus Burgers, Grill'd)

The burger doesn't come out soggy or over laden with sauces or add-ons, but rather a choice of lightly toasted brown or sour dough bread. There is a good balance of fresh ingredients to beef patty, working harmoniously to compliment one another.

Definitely a solid drink from a respectable bar. Fantastic.

ABBAtip:
Order the fries for sharing. Portions are huge and large chip wedges have a delicious crispy fry. Their garlic dip was the recommendation and was really good as well.

 If dining alone, a basic burger set meal, (chips/salad+drink) goes for a very reasonable £12. Burgers were of good sizes, filling, with decent sized buns so that ingredients wouldn't be over flowing from its sides. This thus allowed for easy two handed eating.

All-in-all, by far the coolest atmosphere serving, good, clean, 'healthy', fresh burgers that would edge out the above listed burgers from Australia. However, depending of individual preference, it  may loose out to the good old fashion, greasy, juicy, fat burgers.

For you to try and decide for yourselves if these would make one of the best burgers list. It definitely has in my books.

Located a stone throw away from Hilton Munich. A quaint, authentic pizza bar serving up incredibly cheap and good Pizzas. Incredible value with even better taste! Unbelievable recommendation from hotel concierge staff.

Truffle oil pizza with thinly sliced potatoes are still the best. The four cheese pizza is pretty good too. Fed3 at 6Euros total.

- Vegetable pizza
*Nothing really Phenomenal about this pizza. Pretty much to standard but the crust was beautifully done. Light, thin and not overly crispy.*
-Four cheeses, thinly shaved potato with truffle oil.
*The best! It's comfort food. Like having potato chips atop a cheesy crisp base. Simple and really good*

The pizzas were Consumed before we reached the hotel. Simple rustic ingredients with nothing fancy but done beautifully. Staff at the counter lightly toasts up the pizzas and cuts it for us to share. Service at its best! Will definitely return for a quick bite or a meal. Place was packed at 8pm on a weekday.

Hofbräuhaus München

One of the many beer house located in and around Munich City. A grand hall with waitresses offering pretzels to go with the meal. Food was reportedly ok, but for the atmosphere and the large halls, dining there is an experience on its own.

Explore the top floors of the place where it leads to the place's largest hall. There's a small upper deck section that tells the history of the place, but more do, it provides the vantage point to watch happy customers down their beer and partake in the festive atmosphere.

Cultural shows by way of live music starts around 1830hrs onwards. The ground level plays music at timely intervals throughout the day.

Schweinshaxen - Roast Pork Knuckle Served in brown sauce
and option to change the sides with no additional charge.

*Brown sauce was not too thick, salty, or overly laden with pepper. A good balance that coated the juicy pork. Surprisingly, the pork did not have much dry bits and juicy throughout! The crackling was great as usual though it maybe edges out slightly by the more expensive Hauxbauer pork knuckles which does have more crackling.

The sauerkraut was on the wetter side, and it's refreshing sour taste, helps cut through the obviously meat heavy dish.

A small rustic joint with a limited sitting. With no advance reservation, all you've got is the bar seats. And bar seats were what we got even walking immediately at doors opening at 5pm.

The place is most known for its Ribs and Steaks. A look around, the place seems to see its fair share of celebrities and sports personalities coming through its doors.

Some might say the best seat in the house is the bar. The downside, however, is that even though the main door is open for cooler air to circulate in, there is some radiant heat coming of the charcoal grill.  Nothing a cold pint can't subdue.

*Today's batch of sauce was a little on the sour side but the pork ribs still delivered! The sides as good as ever and remember to share them. Onion rings and salad were of decent size for 4 people to share. Russ was ordered, which is a more malty version of Radler. John agreed it was similar to Cafe De Klos but his go to place and for trying in future is at Trump's Grill in Johannesburg. Go for their Peri peri sauce ribs its the best on his list!*

Better than De Klos(AMS) some felt, while some still stick to Castell's (AMS), however, sides here are still superior to both.

ABBATip:
- 1 Rib serving would probably fill up a guy to the brim.
- 2 Rib servings as pictured above would feed two guys and a girl or 4 girls well.
- The potato side servings are huge and amazing. 1 side can feed 2-4individuals.

x2 Spareribs €14.90

Huge portions and by far the juiciest,most tender, meaty pork ribs I've ever had thus far. Perhaps comparable or dare I say even better, (based on meat on bone alone and quanitty), than Castells Or Cafe De Klos (both located in Amsterdam)

However, the sauce, that modestly coats the ribs, isn't as sweet as that of Castells. A more subtler flavor that doesn't overpower the ribs at all and because of the sugar content, allows for a slight char caramelization when on the charcoal grills. Delectable.

The soft bone at the end bits are the best, tender and a joy to work through. If you're a fan, it's like the soft bone tips you get in Chinese pork bone and mellon soups.

There was so much, but we still finished everything. Even as I type this entry, Id wish I'd have some more ribs.

Baked Potato x2 €3.50

Huge portion servings. One could have easily ordered one to share. Delicious oven baked golden potatoes with a sour cream that isn't overly sour. It gives that guilty, creaminess to the whole thing.

Rib Eye 350g (ordered Medium) €22.90

Even though am personally not a fan of medium doneness on steak, their medium done steak was absolutely a beauty. Like most quality steaks, It came with a great char flavor, only achievable with charcoal BBQ tops and done perfectly. A steak joint worth considering if you want something other than Schweinshaxen.

Radler €3.80

Lemonade with beer came a little warm though, but staff were willing to accommodate to do the Asian thing of adding ice to the beer.

Definitely worth an evening walk, away from the city for solid ribs and steak. A single order of ribs and side is probably just enough for two ladies to share. Double ribs would have probably just about fed 3 of us with option of an additional side order to try other stuff. One rack each per gent is not a problem, but sides, especially the huge baked potato are definitely to share. A ribs joint I would return to again and would, to me give Castels or Cafe De Klos a run for it's money.
